Late-night Shoot

With my sister's boyfriend's birthday approaching, my sister had the idea of doing a photoshoot with her boyfriend, Tony's, 9 year old daughter, Tors, so to put together an album for one of his birthday presents.

So, having to pick a time when Tony wasn't around but Tors was, the ideal opportunity arose when my sister, Tors and I returned home from a Friday night out down the local social club.

Although it had gone 10.30pm, I was quickly able to set up my backdrop and lights in my living room, have Tors do her hair and change outfits, and within 30 minutes, I had all the photos needed to put together a hardback album, which was designed the next day and delivered the middle of the following week.

This just goes to show how quickly I'm able to knock together some professional style shots without the need for a proper studio, and with all of Tony's family now interested in similar shoots for their children and grandchildren, I'm hoping to do more shoots like this in the near future, although at a more sensible time of day! :-)
